Eastern Europe
Eastern Europe includes the following ten countries: Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, and Ukraine (according to the UN Geoscheme).
We love Eastern Europe for its unique architecture and history. It has European flare, but a history much different from their western counterparts.
Visas are still needed for travel in many of the countries here, and we have found our travels to be worth the extra effort we made to get there.
To date, we have been to three of these countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, and Russia), and have written about two of them.
